Solution Advisor
Work you’ll do:
- Effectively configure and maintain HAM modules, including asset classes, models, lifecycle stages, and location tracking to support enterprise hardware management.
- Contribute to routine asset data updates; assist with regular audits to ensure asset records are accurate and complete.
- Support implementation and maintenance of asset receiving, tagging, and inventory validation processes using RFID/barcoding and automated workflows.
- Develop functional workflows and catalog items in ServiceNow using Flow Designer, ensuring streamlined asset onboarding, transfers, and retirements.
- Help create and maintain workflow diagrams (Visio) and document process logic for easy knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate on the integration of HAM with CMDB, Discovery tools (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM), and procurement systems for consistent asset visibility and lifecycle tracking.
- Assist with inventory audits, stockroom/depot management, and the identification of discrepancies for asset reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot basic business rules, client scripts, and custom modules in ServiceNow to resolve operational issues and maintain data integrity.
- Support dashboard and reporting development to communicate asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status to the team.
- Support end users and project teams with technical queries, basic training, and documentation related to HAM operations.
- Participate in workshops and requirements gathering for asset management improvements and automation opportunities.
- Stay current with ServiceNow HAM updates and best practices, sharing knowledge and process enhancements with peers.
The team:
Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.
Qualifications:
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM modules, asset data management, and process automation.
- Solid experience in developing workflows, catalog items, and simple scripts using ServiceNow Flow Designer.
- Exposure to integrating HAM with CMDB, Discovery tools, or procurement/inventory systems.
- Practical knowledge of asset receiving, tagging, inventory auditing, and reconciliation.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- ServiceNow CSA or CIS-HAM certifications.
- Familiarity with operating systems, servers, network devices, and hardware environments.
- Hands-on use of Visio for workflow/process visualization.
- Exposure to RFID/barcode integration for physical asset tracking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical approach with a mindset for process improvement and automation.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree + MBA (Preferred)
