Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including vendor, supply, and sales agreements, NDAs, licensing, distribution, employment, and cross-border service agreements. Additionally, you will provide legal advice and risk assessments to senior leadership on strategic transactions, compliance issues, and entity structuring. Your role will involve maintaining and overseeing legal documentation and corporate records across jurisdictions, especially in India and the U.S. Furthermore, you will support corporate governance processes, monitor legal developments, collaborate with various departments, manage the contract lifecycle, and ensure regulatory and statutory compliance under Indian laws. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts - Provide legal advice and risk assessments to senior leadership - Maintain legal documentation and corporate records across jurisdictions - Support corporate governance processes - Monitor legal developments and update internal policies - Collaborate with different departments and external counsel - Manage contract lifecycle and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Handle regulatory and statutory compliance under Indian laws Qualifications Required: - LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized law school in India or abroad - Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) - 6+ years of experience in corporate legal or contracts management roles, preferably with multinational exposure - Strong experience in Indian and U.S. corporate and commercial law - Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex legal documents independently - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment,
