Position :Chief Technology Officer (Delivery & Transformation)

Location: Pune

Function: Tech & Transformation

Reporting to: CMO

Type: Full-time

Pay - CTC : Rs, 50 lacs pa + variable

Role Purpose

Own delivery and adoption of our transformation program across CRM, channel-partner ops, inventory/booking, marketing automation, integrations, analytics, and AI (incl. voice/calling bots and insight pipelines). Govern the external IT vendor, remove blockers fast, make clear decisions, and work directly with department heads to drive requirements, change requests, QA and UAT through to go-live. Ensure smart vendor/tool scouting with swift business approvals—while translating the work into clear business outcomes and investor-ready narratives.

Key Outcomes

  • Core platform live with clean migration, signed UAT, and visible on-ground adoption.
  • AI in production: calling bots, conversation summaries, nudges/scoring, and actionable insights that sales and presales actually use.
  • Predictable vendor delivery via acceptance-gated milestones and stable release trains.
  • Trusted data foundation (events, consent, RBAC, audit trails) with crisp runbooks.
  • Business value demonstrated—before/after deltas and cohort views that management can cite, and executive updates/demos suitable for investors.
  • Fast, lightweight decisions on niche tools/integrations with clear ownership and comms.

Responsibilities

  • Convert strategy into SOWs, backlogs, acceptance criteria, and a pragmatic release plan; run SIT/UAT and manage cutover with minimal downtime.
  • Unblock & decide: maintain a decision log; resolve scope/trade-offs/timelines quickly with stakeholders.
  • Business requirements & change: workshops, floor-shadowing, prototypes; lightweight change board that keeps delivery moving.
  • QA/UAT & enablement: author test plans, coordinate UAT with department heads, sign off releases, publish SOPs/training, and instrument adoption dashboards.
  • Vendor governance: weekly cadence, SLAs, measurable acceptance tests, early escalation; transparent, on-time delivery.
  • Integrations & data: portals, CTI/telephony, WhatsApp/SMS/email, ads/lead sources, payments, e-sign, KYC, finance/ERP; define data model, dedupe rules, events, and consent.
  • Reliability & security: NFRs, observability, incident reviews; reduce manual workarounds and protect customer data.
  • Value proof & storytelling: tie releases to commercial/ops impact (speed, quality, cost), maintain exec dashboards, and showcase progress in concise investor-friendly demos.

Skills & tech fluency

  • Program/PMO (RAID, gating, change control), product ops (funnels, attribution, analytics), QA/UAT leadership with business teams.
  • Integrations across CTI/IVR, WhatsApp/SMS/email, portals, payments, e-sign/KYC, finance/ERP basics.
  • Data & compliance (event taxonomy, dedupe, consent/retention, RBAC, audit).
  • Technically fluent: reads API specs, reviews payloads/logs, simple SQL for validation, defines NFRs; familiar with web/mobile releases, CI/CD, SSO, and security controls.

Experience

  • 10–14 years overall, with multiple end-to-end CRM/ops rollouts (selection → build/config → UAT → go-live → adoption).
  • Proven vendor governance and cross-functional change management with business stakeholders.
  • Track record of unblocking, leading QA/UAT with functional heads, and landing AI/automation that sticks—and making the impact legible to management/investors.

30–60–90

  • 30: confirm target architecture/integrations and success criteria; finalize backlog/SOWs; decision log live; vendor cadence set; baseline metrics captured for before/after.
  • 60: SIT on core flows; UAT executed with department heads; training ready; analytics/insights MVP; first value snapshots shared with management.
  • 90: phased go-live; adoption dashboards live; incident runbooks in place; first AI/calling-bot use-cases running in production; concise investor-grade demo and one-pager prepared.
