Job Title : Chief Marketing Officer Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai Reports to: Director Position Overview : The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall marketing strategy, branding, and customer acquisition efforts of the company. The CMO will oversee all marketing channels, including performance marketing , SEO , social media , and creative development , to drive growth and elevate the company’s brand presence. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven execution to optimize marketing performance and deliver tangible business results. The CMO will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer experience, to ensure alignment with company goals and the effective execution of marketing initiatives. Key Responsibility : 1. Strategic Marketing Leadership: o Define and lead the company’s comprehensive marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets. o Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention through effective marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. o Ensure marketing efforts support the company’s long-term vision, enhancing market positioning and competitive advantage. 2. Performance Marketing: o Lead and optimize performance marketing initiatives, including paid search (PPC), display advertising, programmatic ads, affiliate marketing, and paid social. o Develop and manage paid media strategies across multiple channels (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive targeted traffic, conversions, and ROI. o Analyze and optimize campaign performance metrics such as CPC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates to maximize marketing spend efficiency. o Leverage data and insights to drive continuous improvements in lead generation and sales conversion. 3. SEO Strategy & Execution: o Oversee and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic growth, improving search rankings, and increasing website traffic. o Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, enhancing both on-page and off- page SEO through keyword research, content optimization, and backlink strategies. o Work closely with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation and distribution. o Regularly analyze website performance, using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to track KPIs and identify areas for improvement. 4. Social Media Strategy & Management: o Develop and lead the company’s social media marketing strategy across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) to build brand awareness and customer engagement. o Create and curate compelling social media content that resonates with the target audience and drives traffic to digital properties. o Monitor social media trends and competitors, adapting strategies to maximize engagement and brand reach. o Manage social media budgets, campaigns, and influencer partnerships to support brand objectives and increase visibility. 5. Creative Leadership & Brand Management: o Oversee the creation of high-quality creative assets (videos, graphics, copy) for marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels. o Ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all marketing materials, including social media, advertisements, websites, and events. o Lead the creative direction for digital and traditional campaigns, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and experimentation. o Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and other partners to deliver creative marketing solutions that align with the company’s brand and business goals. 6. Customer Insights & Market Research: o Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for growth. o Use customer insights, data analytics, and segmentation to inform and personalize marketing efforts, improving customer engagement and loyalty. o Regularly gather competitive intelligence to ensure the brand remains differentiated and aligned with customer expectations. 7. Team Leadership and Development: o Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, setting clear objectives, providing mentorship, and driving career development opportunities. o Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven team culture. o Oversee hiring, training, and performance management to ensure the marketing department operates at the highest standards. 8. Budget and Resource Management: o Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize the impact of marketing activities. o Work closely with finance teams to track and report on marketing spend, ensuring that all activities deliver value and contribute to the bottom line. o Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements without sacrificing the quality of marketing initiatives. 9. Analytics, Reporting, and ROI Measurement: o Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all marketing functions (SEO, PPC, social media, content, etc.). o Use marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush) to measure and report on the success of campaigns, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value. o Provide actionable insights to the executive team on marketing performance and make data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns. 10. Stakeholder and Executive Communication: o Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align marketing efforts with company-wide objectives and initiatives. o Act as the brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and media interactions. o Keep senior leadership informed of key marketing trends, successes, and challenges. Minimum Qualification : · Educational Background: o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. · Expe rience: o 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a strong background in performance marketing , SEO , social media , and creative direction . o Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels. o Strong experience in managing multi-channel campaigns and optimizing marketing spend to achieve business goals. o At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional marketing teams and working closely with product, sales, and customer experience teams. Skill and Competency : · Performance Marketing Expertise: o In-depth knowledge of PPC , programmatic advertising , retargeting , affiliate marketing , and conversion optimization . · SEO Mastery: o Advanced understanding of SEO best practices and tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz. · Social Media Savvy: o Extensive experience in social media marketing , including content creation, community management, and paid social media campaigns. · Creative Leadership: o Strong ability to lead and inspire a creative team, with a focus on delivering high- quality marketing assets across multiple channels. · Data-Driven Decision Making: o Proficient in using data analytics tools to track, measure, and optimize campaign performance (Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other reporting tools). · Strategic & Analytical Thinking: o Strong strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights to drive growth. · Leadership & Team Building: o Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative marketing culture.
