Key Responsibility Areas: CFO
1. Strategy and Finance:
- Responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making processes that affects company, and provide strategic financial input to senior management/ Board of Directors.
- Play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of firm.
- Provide timely financial management information for Financial Planning to meet company's business needs
- Prepare periodic and end of the year financial statements to meet regulatory requirements and management needs, for strategy, forward planning purposes.
- Prepares daily/monthly reports of the revenue and expense forecast for forthcoming months on analysing the trends and budgets prepared.
- Actively participate in budgeting process. Review monthly position of actual results against budget, analyse results and recommends measures required to meet budget.
- Oversee consolidated financial position assessments
- Ensure complete transparency over financial performance of the company
- Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
- Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in timely manner
- Making long term strategy for the growth of the organization.
2. Daily Accounts & Finance:
- To manage and provide leadership to the Accounts team ensuring it produces timely, accurate and useful financial information and provides support to Functional Heads and Top Management.
- Oversee the accounting processes in accordance with applicable regulations and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Control and account for the revenue and expenses required in the normal operations.
- Perform treasury operations including cash management, accounts payable and disbursements for the operations of the units.
- To ensure the accounting procedures and internal controls are kept under continuous review and are appropriate to the activities of the Company so that there is no fraud, theft and error and that accounting records are complete and accurate. Implements and reviews financial controls and policies.
- Ensures an up-to-date cash flow projection is maintained and maximizes cash flow performance of the company through controls on inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances
3. Statutory Compliance, Tax and TDS Returns:
- Obtains appropriate legal counsel regarding the business practices of the company and maintains an awareness of local laws, rules and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining effective taxation administration procedures/processes appropriate for the company; resolve taxation issues.
- Follows up on all capital expenditures to ensure compliance with original justification and approval
- Conducts periodic inspections and tests to ensure that the department is complying with required procedures and statutory compliance.
- Manage all other areas of indirect taxes affecting the company, identifying areas of potential risk and taking preventative action.
- Verification of cash receipts, payments and relating Journal Vouchers daily.
- Preparation of monthly Profit and Loss Accounts and balance sheets, monthly revenue and expenditure statement/ dash boards.
- Be responsible for coordination of quarterly and annual tax payments when required.
- Be responsible for quarterly and annual effective tax rate analysis, tax provision, tax disclosures, and overall income tax preparation and submission.
- Responsible for all tax related matters like Sales Tax/VAT, Service Tax, Vetting of TDS returns, Income Tax and Excise.
- Ensure the service tax compliance is met.

- Assisting tax team in various activities such as timely submission of various returns, completion of tax audits, tax provisioning, timely payment of advance tax, Professional Tax etc. Controls, Stores
4. Audit:
- Reviews Internal Audit reports and progress through unit visits to ensure maximum internal controls are in place
- Employs adequate internal control procedures to ensure correct authorization for payment procedures
- Manages internal and external audits when they occur.
- Ensure the Controller audit’s the outsourcing agencies periodically to check if their reports tally with the actual.
- Ensure the audit the outlet stores are done randomly periodically and make report to managementon irregularities if any.

IPO Strategy & Execution
- Lead the company’s IPO readiness efforts including financial due diligence, regulatory compliance, and financial system upgrades.
- Collaborate with investment bankers, legal counsel, auditors, and underwriters to prepare the S-1 filing and all SEC-required documentation.
- Manage relationships with external advisors and stakeholders throughout the IPO process.
- Develop and implement internal controls and corporate governance policies in alignment with public company standards
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary on preparation of Agendas and Minutes and conducting of the Board Meetings, Committee meetings, General Meetings of the Company.
- Compliances with various acts and regulations under the Listing agreement and SEBI Act, Rules and Regulations.
Experience: -
- 10 to 15 years of post-qualification experience.
- Should have handled the plants and Corporate Finance in a diversified manufacturing operations environment.
- It would be essential that the experience should include diverse exposure to treasury, M&A, management of strategic investments & controllership. The experience must be holistic reflecting a well-balanced and rounded exposure to the overall Finance and Accounts function.
- Ability to work in complex situations and be strong in handling high pressure work environment Ability to interact and develop excellent rapport / relationships with the financial and investment community would be essential.
- Exposure to having worked in organizations with multiple partners / shareholders and having efficiently managed the relationship across this spectrum including Board of Directors, Business Heads and Departmental Heads would be ideal.
- Should have worked in a listed company and be familiar with the requirements of listed entities. Experience in managing compliance related issues, corporate governance, dealing with advisors and other intermediaries such as Investment Bankers, Lead Managers, Legal advisers, drafting the offer document, filing with SEBI, Financial Statements and other SEBI/ Stock exchange disclosures / requirements, Filing of DRHP/RHP – would be an added advantage. Should have exposure and experience of precision components / engine components selling
