Position Overview

Business Operations professional


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and oversee

    end-to-end business operations

    , including supply chain, vendor management, compliance, and customer service.
  • Design and implement

    process improvement initiatives

    to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Align operational workflows with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • P&L Management

  • Own and manage

    business unit P&L

    , ensuring profitability, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare variance analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to align operational decisions with

    budgetary and financial goals

  • Data & Performance Management

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and reports for

    KPI tracking, forecasting, and decision-making

  • Drive ROI-focused initiatives across projects.
  • Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to

    regulatory requirements

    (especially in Pharma and Retail).
  • Establish and monitor

    quality assurance frameworks

  • Mitigate operational risks through proactive planning and audits.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a

    bridge between leadership and operational teams

    , ensuring alignment on priorities and execution.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Marketing, Tech, and Supply Chain teams to drive

Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

    from

    top-tier colleges/universities

    (mandatory).
  • MBA/PGDM from reputed B-schools

    preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:

    8–15 years in

    business operations, process management, or strategy

    , preferably in

    Pharma, E-commerce, or Retail

    .
  • Skills:

  • Strong expertise in

    process optimization, compliance, and operational excellence

    .
  • Proven ability in

    P&L management and financial accountability

    .
  • Proficiency in

    ERP systems, data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and automation platforms

    .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
