Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Finance Manager to act as a key business partner to our leadership team. In this role, you will move beyond simple reporting to provide critical financial insights that drive decision-making. You will own the financial planning process, manage P&L performance, and ensure rigorous governance around financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Budgeting & Forecasting:

  Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) and drive the monthly/quarterly rolling forecast processes.

• Variance Analysis:

  Monitor performance against budget; analyze variances in Revenue, Opex, and Headcount, and provide actionable commentary to leadership.

• P&L Management:

  Own the full P&L visibility for the business unit, ensuring accuracy in revenue recognition and cost allocation.

2. Strategic Business Partnering

• Decision Support:

  Act as a trusted advisor to functional heads, validating business cases for new investments and initiatives.

• ROI Modeling:

  Build financial models to assess the viability of long-term strategic projects, identifying risks and opportunities.

• Treasury Management :

  Efficiently and effectively managing the funds and foreign exchange in order to mitigate Fx loss and to maintain right working capital.

• Margin Analysis:

  Analyze gross margins and profitability trends to recommend cost-optimization strategies.

3. Controllership & Compliance

• Accounting

  : To ensure accurate and timely accounting based on relevant accounting standards for the business assigned.

• Month-End Close:

  Oversee the month-end close process in collaboration with the accounting team to ensure books are closed accurately and on time.

• AR/AP Management

  : Manage and review end to end AR & AP process related to the business assigned.

• Internal Controls:

  Ensure strict adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and statutory compliance requirements.

• Audit Support:

  Serve as a point of contact for internal and external audits regarding financial data.

4. Reporting & Metrics

• Management Reporting:

  Prepare executive-level dashboards and board decks highlighting key financial performance indicators (KPIs) such as EBITDA, Operating Cash Flow, and Utilization.

• Process Improvement:

  Identify bottlenecks in current financial processes and implement automation or tool enhancements to improve speed and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or CPA preferred.

• Experience:

  10+ years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or Corporate Finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Advanced Excel skills (Macros, complex modeling) are non-negotiable.
• Experience with ERP systems (Preferably QuickBooks/Zoho).
• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong storytelling ability: Translating complex financial data into clear business narratives.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity.
