Job Title: Business Development

Locations: Delhi | Goa | Mumbai


Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client portfolio management, from lead generation and conversion to account maintenance and growth. This role requires excellent communication, organizational and technical skills.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition & Development:-

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients across various sectors by conducting in-depth research and development (R&D) in different market segments such as fixed installations, LED hoardings, brand activations and other AV-related domains.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase AV equipment and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and service agreements to close deals and maximize revenue.


2. Client Portfolio Management:-

  • Handle a portfolio of High-Net-Worth Clients (HNI) with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and prompt issue resolution.
  • Understand client preferences to deliver customized AV solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data in CRM or relevant systems.


3. Market & Communication Strategy:-

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop effective communication strategies that strengthen brand positioning and support business objectives.


4. Order Processing & Back-End Coordination:-

  • Process client orders efficiently — from equipment selection and delivery scheduling to payment processing.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and ensure transparency in costs and specifications.
  • Generate tax invoices using Tally / Busy while adhering to accounting and tax compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery and setup of AV equipment.


5. Sales Reporting & Analysis:-

  • Track and report sales performance against targets on a regular basis.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Support the management team in sales forecasting and planning.


6. Travel & On-Site Client Visits:-

  • Travel frequently within the assigned region and occasionally to other cities for client meetings, site visits, and event supervision.
  • Represent the company professionally during on-ground visits and networking events.


Qualifications & Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales — preferably within the Audio-Visual rental or events industry.
  • Strong understanding of AV equipment and its applications in event environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and accounting tools such as Tally.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the city as per business requirements.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
