Job Summary:
Business Development Officer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Sales
- Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, real estate developers, architects, interior designers, and project consultants.
- Convert potential leads into business contracts through effective sales strategies.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Handle client inquiries, address concerns, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Collect client feedback and coordinate with internal teams for service improvements.
3. Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitors, and potential growth opportunities.
- Identify new sectors and geographical areas for business expansion.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance market presence.
4. Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Work with the design and project teams to create feasible proposals.
- Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to align sales with project execution.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects from sales to operations.
- Provide regular updates on sales progress and business development activities.
6. Brand Awareness & Networking
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
- Develop and enhance the company’s brand visibility in the interior fit-out market.
- Utilize digital marketing channels to generate leads and improve brand positioning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- Strong network within the real estate, interior design, or contracting sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of project estimation, budgeting, and contract negotiation is a plus.
