Business Development Manager

Position Objective:

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads through market research, cold calling, personal networking, referrals, site visits, and digital outreach. Focus on high-potential sectors such as NBFCs, banks, corporates, real estate developers, co-working spaces, and emerging brands.
  • Relationship Management:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, PMC consultants, facility heads, procurement managers, and real estate developers. Build trust-based relationships that lead to repeat and referral business.
  • Proposal & Tender Management:

  • Coordinate with the in-house estimation, design, and technical teams to prepare accurate and persuasive proposals. Ensure timely submission of quotations, tenders, and client presentations in line with project requirements.
  • Strategic Positioning:

  • Represent CMA Turnkey at industry events, exhibitions, networking meets, and corporate forums. Actively promote the company’s brand, project credentials, and technical capabilities.
  • Sales Target Achievement:

  • Work towards monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities and submit periodic performance reports to senior management.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work in close coordination with internal project, design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure that client expectations are aligned and that there is a smooth handover from sales to execution.
  • Market Intelligence:

  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, upcoming developments, and pricing benchmarks to remain competitive and informed.

Candidate Profile – Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum

    3–8 years of experience

    in business development, project sales, or key account management – preferably in

    interior fit-out, turnkey construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors

    .
  • Demonstrated ability to independently close medium to large-scale B2B projects.
  • Strong understanding of the

    project lifecycle

    in turnkey contracts – from requirement gathering to project execution.
  • Proven connections or access to

    decision-makers

    in corporates, banking, and real estate industries.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Well-organized with strong time management and follow-up ability.
  • Tech-savvy; able to use CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and online prospecting tools effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Maharashtra.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in

    Civil Engineering

    Business Administration

    , or any related discipline.
  • MBA in Marketing or Business Development

    will be considered an added advantage.
