BOQ & Billing Engineer

Position Overview:

BOQ & Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed

  Bill of Quantities (BOQs)

  based on architectural, structural, and interior design drawings
• Coordinate with the site team for

  measurement verification

  and quantity assessments
• Ensure timely generation and submission of

  client bills and contractor/vendor bills

• Track material consumption and labor deployment for accurate project costing
• Validate

  work completion certificates

  , reconciliation statements, and billing accuracy
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Purchase Teams to validate cost projections
• Assist in preparing

  rate analysis

  , cost estimations, and price justifications
• Maintain documentation of billing cycles, client communications, and approvals
• Monitor contract variations, change orders, and communicate their impact on billing
• Ensure all billing is in compliance with client agreements, drawings, and execution timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in

  BOQ preparation and billing for turnkey/interior projects

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing/estimation software
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site layouts
• Sound knowledge of interior materials, execution methods, and project workflows
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with GST, tax components in billing, and project contractual terms
