We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Shri Vinayak Sahakari Bank Ltd.. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in the BFSI industry, with a strong background in liabilities, branch banking, and business development. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new-to-bank customers from the open market and nurturing them for one year. This role involves servicing the customers and cross-selling banking products and services.
Acquire new-to-bank customers from the open market through direct sales, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and offer tailored banking solutions
Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase loyalty and retention by delivering excellent customer service by resolving queries and providing ongoing support.
Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to pursue them.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Minimum 4 years of experience in the BFSI industry, preferably in liabilities, branch banking, or business development.
Strong knowledge of business development principles and practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Experience working with financial institutions is an added advantage.
