Business Development Assistant

Role Overview: You will be joining OnGrid as a full-time Business Development Representative based in Gurgaon. Your primary responsibilities will include lead generation, inside sales activities, and contributing to sales and business development efforts. Your daily tasks will involve researching potential clients, making sales calls, maintaining customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Generate, meet, and qualify leads (potential clients) as part of the B2B sales process - Conduct presentations, platform demos, and regular follow-ups with potential clients - Create quality proposals for clients - Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC's) and pilots for potential clients, providing support during the pilot period - Gather client and user insights for dissemination to the product, technology, and operations team - Maintain a customer-centric mindset focused on building and improving customer relationships and effectively utilizing value selling techniques - Develop annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends, and results - Build a high-performance sales team by recruiting candidates and providing effective onboarding and training Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of IT / Platform sales experience, with strong front-end client-facing business development skills - Experience in B2B sales targeting CHRO and CXO level executives is preferred - Background in sales of Background Verification (BGV) platform/services or Staffing / Recruitment platform/services is a plus - Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) are mandatory - Demonstrated ability to maintain a structured, scientific, and disciplined approach in business development - Knowledge of digital marketing tools is advantageous - Proficiency in using Google Slides, Docs, Spreadsheets, and MS Office is required.,
