Role Description We’re looking for a Sales & Business Development Intern to join our founding team in Delhi NCR. As a Sales Intern, you’ll be at the frontlines of our merchant acquisition efforts — identifying leads, making cold calls, pitching Hubb to small business owners, and helping us scale our partner network. This is a paid, full-time internship (on-site) and a great opportunity to work directly with the founders, gain hands-on startup experience, and contribute to something truly game-changing in the local commerce space. We’ve begun onboarding top brands across Delhi NCR and are expanding our merchant network rapidly. This role is critical to our early growth. Role Overview We are looking for a motivated, smart, and energetic Business Development / Merchant Acquisition Associate to help onboard local businesses onto Hubb. This is a fully on-ground field role — you will visit markets, talk to business owners, explain the product, and help them go live on the platform. The right person is someone who enjoys meeting people, understands how Delhi markets operate, and is excited about being part of an early-stage startup. Responsibilities Visit local cafés, salons, boutiques, and lifestyle stores across Delhi NCR to pitch Hubb and onboard merchants. Identify potential high-quality brands and build a strong acquisition pipeline. Explain Hubb’s value proposition clearly and confidently to store owners and managers. Collect merchant details, complete onboarding forms, and ensure smooth setup on the Hubb platform. Coordinate with the onboarding and operations team to ensure each merchant goes live quickly. Maintain daily tracking of leads, visits, and conversions using internal tools. Build long-term relationships with merchants and act as the point of contact for early support. Represent Hubb professionally and uphold our brand standards during all offline interactions. What We’re Looking For Recently graduated or 0–2 years of work experience in sales, business development, or field roles. Strong communication skills (Hindi + English). Confident, persistent, and comfortable talking to people in person. Ability to work independently on-ground and manage your own territory. High ownership and willingness to hustle in fast-paced environments. Interest in startups, consumer businesses, retail, or the hospitality ecosystem. Reliable, punctual, and accountable — we value consistency over credentials. Nice to Have Prior on-ground sales experience (even internship) is a bonus but not required. Understanding of Delhi’s retail and café markets. Ability to build relationships with boutique brands and local business owners.
