Your Community The Finance team is the backbone of our business and has grown from being internal accounting and finance to a major function that supports all areas of the business, including assessing financial implications from various key strategic decisions and growth opportunities. Your Position Billing & Invoicing: Oversee the preparation, issuance, and tracking of invoices related to student recruitment campaigns, university agreements, and services rendered. University Agreement Understanding: Ensure compliance with the terms of university agreements, including payment schedules, terms, and conditions, and translate these into accurate billing and invoicing procedures. Financial Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records, tracking payments, discrepancies, and overdue invoices. Reporting: Generate and analyze billing-related reports for management, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, account managers, and other departments to ensure timely billing and resolution of any billing-related issues. Communication: Effectively communicate with universities, partners, and internal teams regarding billing inquiries, payment issues, and any discrepancies. Excel Expertise: Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to manage billing data, generate reports, and track payments. Dispute Resolution: Handle and resolve any billing-related disputes in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive relationships with university partners. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Your Backstory Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in billing, finance, or accounting, preferably in an educational or SaaS environment. University Agreement Knowledge: Strong understanding of the terms and conditions commonly found in university agreements, with the ability to translate these into billing procedures. Excel Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and professionally. Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and billing processes. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changes in processes, technology, and business needs. Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and find creative solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the education or international recruitment sector is a plus. Familiarity with billing software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
