At ORBCOMM, we’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented customer support associate to help verify speed data across North America, South America, Australia, and other global locations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in updating verified speed limits that directly impact on our customers’ safety, ensuring drivers receive accurate and reliable real-time data. What You’ll Do Review and verify speed limits using tools such as Google Street View for customer-driven roads across global locations including North America, South America, and Australia. Interpret and apply local, city, county, and state speed regulations to roads without posted limits. Audit speed data accuracy by cross-referencing inputs from our All-In-One Camera system. Correct and update speed limit data to ensure accuracy and safety for drivers in real-time. Review and analyze driver video logs, identifying key information according to provided parameters. Communicate with customers via email and phone to gather necessary information for ticket and order processing. Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering (Tier 3), QA, and Operations to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Who You Are A graduate or someone with equivalent experience — formal education is preferred but not mandatory. Brings 0–1 year of experience in handling backend operations or data-focused tasks. Proficient with Google Spreadsheets and MS Office products. Understands speed signs and how speed limit systems are implemented across various locations. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fast and accurate typing. Highly attentive to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy when reviewing, correcting, or re-entering customer and account data.
