About the Role

Alphanext is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the North American market. This role is suited for a dynamic, results-driven professional with experience in enterprise technology sales. The ideal candidate will bring strong market insights, excellent relationship management skills, and a consultative approach to help expand Alphanext//'s presence across industries including IT, IoT, Data Analytics, and Software Development. This is a strategic role that requires proactive ownership of the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Market Research

  • Develop and execute go-to-market and territory plans for North America.

  • Conduct market analysis, identify trends, and recommend strategic initiatives.

  • Build and maintain a qualified lead database via individual efforts and collaboration with the research team.

Lead Generation & Relationship Management

  • Identify and connect with key stakeholders and decision-makers across target sectors.

  • Drive lead generation through LinkedIn, referrals, cold outreach, and industry connections.

  • Ensure all prospecting and pipeline activity is well-documented in CRM tools.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Ownership

  • Book and coordinate meetings between senior leadership and prospective clients.

  • Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and business cases aligned with client requirements.

  • Own the entire sales cycle including outreach, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.

Client Onboarding & Internal Collaboration

  • Ensure smooth transition of new clients to internal delivery teams.

  • Act as the bridge between clients and delivery to ensure successful onboarding and project kickoff.

Account Growth & Retention

  • Actively manage and grow existing client accounts.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through continuous client engagement.

Event Support & Networking

  • Support participation in industry events, conferences, and roadshows in collaboration with leadership and marketing teams.

Required Skills

Sales & Business Development

  • Demonstrated success in B2B technology sales within the North American region.

  • Experience managing enterprise-level deals and navigating complex decision-making structures.

  • Proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce/Zoho CRM, ZoomInfo/Hoover.

Industry Knowledge

  • Understanding of key technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, Cloud, Embedded Systems, and Digital Transformation.

  • Experience with verticals like IT Services, Data Analytics, Software Development, and Industrial Automation is a strong plus.

Communication & Negotiation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent proposal, pitch, and presentation capabilities.

  • Ability to lead sales conversations and contract negotiations with C-level stakeholders.

Organization & Analytical Thinking

  • Strong market research and competitive analysis capabilities.

  • Well-organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Tech Stack & Tools

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM systems (Zoho/Salesforce), project management tools (Jira), and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams).

Flexibility

  • Willingness to travel across North America.

  • Availability to work during US business hours.

Good to Have

  • Experience mentoring junior team members.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Marketo).

  • Exposure to emerging domains like RPA, DevOps, AR/VR, and ServiceNow.
