This position requires strong analytical, operational, and leadership skills to drive IT asset management maturity across the company.
● Own and manage the complete lifecycle of all IT assets — from procurement and deployment to retirement and disposal.
● Maintain a central, accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets across the organization.
● Oversee Software Asset Management (SAM) — track licenses, renewals, usage, and compliance for all software vendors.
● Lead Hardware Asset Management (HAM) — ensure proper tagging, allocation, tracking, and environmentally compliant disposal of all hardware.
● Define, implement, and continuously improve IT Asset Management (ITAM) policies and processes aligned with ITIL and company standards.
● Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT operations teams to manage asset purchases, renewals, and vendor relationships.
● Drive compliance and audit readiness — ensure all licenses, contracts, and assets meet legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
● Identify and mitigate risks related to license violations, underutilized assets, or data exposure from decommissioned hardware.
● Develop and maintain SOPs, governance frameworks, and compliance checklists to standardize asset operations.
● Analyze asset data to identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities across software and hardware portfolios.
● Generate and present regular reports on asset utilization, total cost of ownership (TCO), compliance status, and renewal forecasts.
● Support budgeting and forecasting by providing insights on asset spend, depreciation, and lifecycle costs.
● Champion process automation and continuous improvement in asset tracking, procurement workflows, and reporting systems.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, providing documentation and ensuring full compliance.
● Promote awareness and adherence to asset policies across departments through training, communication, and collaboration.
