GENERAL INFORMATION Location of Job: Gurugram Type of Employment: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Donor Relationship Management: Develop and implement strategies for donor engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with key institutional, corporate, and individual donors. Ensure timely donor communication, reporting, and acknowledgment of contributions, appreciation letters, and personalized communications. Coordinate donor visits and field immersion programs to showcase on-ground work. Work with internal teams (programs, finance, MEL) to prepare customized and timely impact reports for donors, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and utilization of funds and ensure donor deliverables like MoUs, reports, and utilization certificates are met on time. Fundraising and Strategic Planning: Support the programme team in designing donor-specific proposals and renewal strategies. Collaborate with program, finance, and communications teams for donor reporting and proposal alignment. Resource Development: Identify, research, and approach potential funding sources — including corporates (CSR), institutions, HNIs, and grant agencies. Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and targets aligned with organizational objectives. Prepare concept notes, grant proposals, and presentations tailored to donor requirements. Coordinate fundraising campaigns, donor events, and digital drives to attract new supporters. Data and Reporting Management: Track donation trends, prepare MIS reports, and analyse donor metrics to support decision-making. Develop and maintain a robust CRM system and donor database with thematic and geographical division to monitor partnerships, fundraising activities, and commitments. Ensure accurate documentation of donor commitments, receipts, and communication history. Support the program team in proposal and budget development process for partnership projects including research, drafting, and customizing presentations to match donor priorities. Compliance and Due Diligence: Ensure all donor transactions and reporting comply with organizational and statutory guidelines (FCRA, CSR, and audit requirements). Maintain confidentiality and transparency in donor communications and fund utilization reporting. Provide monthly and quarterly fundraising performance reports to management. Team Management & Program Design Work closely with program teams to co-create initiatives and assist in developing innovative programs that appeal to donors, demonstrating scalability, impact, and alignment with THF’s goals. Support regional teams based in the states to develop strategic partnership with potential corporate /institutional donors. Review the proposal and budget developed by the program teams before submission to the donors Ensure timely submissions of high-quality, persuasive proposals with clear objectives, deliverables, and expected impact. Communication & Impact Reporting: Work with the communications team to design donor-specific impact reports, newsletters, and success stories & to create impactful donor outreach materials, campaigns, and fundraising collaterals. Represent the organization in donor meetings, external forums, and CSR reviews. Leverage social media and digital platforms to enhance visibility and raise funds. Technical Eligibility / Skills: Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in donor management, donor retention, and resource mobilisation (preferably in NGO / development sector). They will be responsible for delivering on the organization’s plans on recruitment, induction, training intervention planning, data management, employee engagement, performance management and other HR activities.
