Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing on-ground support for a wide range of HR activities, primarily focused on managing a workforce of approximately 650 individuals, including staff-based (SB) employees, hourly workers, and contract personnel.The role ensures smooth day-to-day HR functioning across vendor coordination and statutory compliance.Job ResponsibilitiesWorkforce Management
- Support HR operations for a diverse employee base, ensuring timely resolution of workforce-related matters.
- Maintain accurate employee data and coordinate with internal teams for operational alignment
Vendor Coordination
- Manage manpower vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor deployment schedules and ensure operational efficiency.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain documentation for audits and ensure timely reporting to authorities.
HR Documentation
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, contracts, and compliance audits.
- Ensure timely updates in HRMS and physical records.
Employee Life Cycle Management
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions.
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities
- Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure smooth integration of new hire
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs aligned with business goals.
- Track participation and effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Maintain training records and certifications
Performance Management
- Facilitate goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Support managers in performance feedback and development planning.
- Maintain performance documentation and ensure timely completion of cycles.
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
- Address grievances and ensure timely resolution.
- Promote a positive work culture aligned with company values.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage HRMS updates including promotions, transfers, and salary changes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
Insurance & Employee Benefits
- Administer employee insurance programs including health, accident, and life coverage.
- Manage benefits such as leave, wellness programs, and statutory entitlements.
- Coordinate with vendors and employees for claims, renewals, and queries.
Exit & Full & Final Settlement
- Conduct exit interviews and manage clearance processes.
- Ensure timely processing of full and final settlements
- Maintain attrition data and analyze exit trends
Qualifications
Post-graduation specialization in Human Resources.4-5 years overall Management Experience
Skills
Experience providing HR support to manufacturing and commercial teams in India, preferably with MNCDemonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumenStrong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organizationStrong understanding of labor laws and statutory complianceExperience in vendor management and union handlingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProficient in MS Office Suite with strong hands-on experience
