Job description: Key Responsibilities: a) Procurement Support: Assist the Team Manager in executing procurement strategies and implementing procurement policies and procedures for the company. b) Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, communicate procurement requirements, and ensure timely delivery of raw material and sub materials. c) Sourcing and Supplier Selection: Assist in identifying potential suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, and evaluating their capabilities. Collaborate with the Team Manager to select vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards. d) Purchase Order Processing: Support the procurement process by processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and tracking order status. Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase orders, and maintain proper documentation. e) Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of raw material and sub materials. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, monitor stock levels, and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stock outs or excess inventory. f) Price Negotiation: Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable contractual terms. Monitor market trends and conduct price benchmarking to optimize procurement spend. g) Procurement Reporting: Compile and analyze procurement data, prepare reports, and provide insights to management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the development of procurement dashboards and metrics. h) Compliance and Risk Management: Support compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and compliance risks. i) Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of procurement activities with business objectives. Preferred candidate profile Any Bachelor's degree, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
