What You’ll Do " '- Work on NPI and sustaining projects on DC Fast chargers Mechanical Design and Develop Enclosure & internal sub-systems for DC chargers and its accessories, meeting customer requirement, cost target and Market related technology Coordinate with Global stakeholders and Drive project execution through Design, testing and implementation phase Contribute to technical development of the product. Ensure product compliance to global design standards like IEC, NEMA ,UL or any other compliance standard Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process" "‘- Redesign existing parts or design new concepts on DC & AC low voltage distribution equipment; meeting customer requirement, cost target and Market related technology Experienced in Mechanical Design of converter/inverter housings, packaging and optimize design layout considering packaging , electrical wiring requirements Proficient in CAD design 2D and 3D modelling. Lead multiple projects/programs/teams through execution of these programs/projects in a timely manner, supporting the business goals and Profit Plan objectives Create Intellectual Property documents (IPs) around new product design concepts / ideas and drive innovation from ideation through to execution 3D modelling, detailing, and drafting experience on 3D CAD tool. (Preferred Solid works) Develops test plans for temperature rise, IP testing, Vibration tests in accordance with IEC/UL standards. Creates test object requirements, plan for assembly and finalize test parameters & instrumentation. Responsible for conducting tests by ensuring deployment of standard practices. Assesses test results, root cause analysis through test findings/failures and takes corrective/preventive actions Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process Performs project management role from design to implementation; communicates expectations, plans, and requirements and coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects" Qualifications BE 5-9 yrs Product Design Skills Mechanical Engineering Project management, working in Virtual enviroment ]]> Show more Show less
