Assistant Manager - HR

As an Assistant Manager in Human Resources, you will be responsible for providing support and leadership in core HR functions. Your role will involve handling HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving. Your key responsibilities will include managing end-to-end recruitment processes for mid-to-senior level roles, coordinating with department heads for hiring needs, overseeing onboarding and induction of new employees, acting as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances, developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives, organizing team-building events, celebrations, and wellness programs. You will also assist in implementing and monitoring the performance appraisal process, support managers in goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans, maintain employee records in HRIS, prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analytics, manage exit processes including full and final settlements and exit interviews, ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements, update and enforce HR policies and procedures, support audits and handle documentation for compliance checks, identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development programs, and maintain training records and assess post-training effectiveness. To be successful in this role, you should have an MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent, 68 years of experience in core HR functions, strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask, handle pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment.
