About The Opportunity

Join a fast-growing professional services firm in the Management Consulting & Financial Advisory sector. We partner with leading organizations to deliver robust financial solutions—spanning reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. As we expand our footprint across India, we’re seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to drive accuracy, efficiency, and insight within our finance function.Role & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring timely, accurate financial reports.
Prepare detailed variance analysis and commentary to support senior leadership in decision-making.
Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles; track performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with IND AS/IFRS and GST regulations.
Manage general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and balance sheet substantiation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Tax, Audit, Operations—to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

CA/ICWA qualified or MBA in Finance with 4+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros).
Strong understanding of IND AS/IFRS standards, GST frameworks, and corporate taxation.
Proven track record in financial reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting cycles.

Preferred

Experience implementing process improvements or automation initiatives (e.g., reconciliation tools).
Exposure to audit coordination, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a high-growth consulting or professional services environment.
