Job Description

Role Overview


Accounts Manager

 

Key Responsibilities


●      Act as the primary point of contact for assigned finance clients.

●      Manage end-to-end client financials including billing, collections, reporting, and reconciliation.

●      All compliances-GST, TDS/TCS, Income tax, foreign payments (15CA/15CB) and STPI and other department

●      Prepare and present financial reports, account statements, and forecasts for clients.

●      Understand each client’s financial goals, advising on budgeting, cost control, and compliance.

●      Collaborate with internal teams (finance, audit, operations, tax) to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

●      Identify areas for upselling/cross-selling financial products or advisory services.

●      Ensure all client data and records are maintained accurately and comply with legal standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).

●      Monitor and track account KPIs such as account profitability, AR aging, and renewal timelines.

●      Maintain detailed documentation of communications, contracts, and service changes.

●      Assist in audits, financial reviews, and regulatory filings as necessary.



 

Qualifications & Skills


Education & Experience:


●     CA Inter (MBA/CA/CPA is a plus).

●      3–6 years of experience in financial account management, client accounting, or similar roles.  Experience in an IT Company is preferred.

●      Experience handling multiple client accounts in a corporate or consulting environment.

●      Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, etc.) and MS Excel.

●      Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting, and regulatory standards.

●      Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.

●      Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.

●      Ability to manage priorities across multiple clients and projects.

●      Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.

●      Team player with ability to coordinate across departments.



 

Preferred Attributes


●     Prior experience in a  fintech startup.

●     Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and statutory compliance.

●     Understanding of tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting dashboards.
