DevOps Engineer L1 Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer (L1), you will assist in automating processes, managing deployments, and maintaining the infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of DevOps principles who is eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues. Perform routine tasks such as server monitoring, log analysis, and backup management. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth releases. Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Ensure basic security measures, including firewall configuration and patch management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus).
