Job Description

Job Title: Accountant Manager

Location: Indore

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Operations Head

Type: Full-time

Role Objective:

To manage day-to-day financial operations, vendor and client transactions, tax compliance, cash flow tracking, and support monthly reporting using the latest accounting tools such as TallyPrime and Zoho Books.

Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Record and track vendor bills and client receivables
  • Maintain detailed aging reports
  • Coordinate with sales and operations for timely client payments
Cash Flow Management
  • Track daily inflows and outflows of funds
  • Maintain cash flow statement and forecast for upcoming 30/60/90 days
  • Highlight upcoming liabilities and collections to management
  • Alert for payment delays and prepare fund movement plans
Bookkeeping & Daily Entries
  • Enter vouchers for sales, purchases, contra, payments, receipts
  • Maintain updated General Ledger, petty cash, and journals
  • Perform bank reconciliation and reconcile advances
Taxation & Compliance
  • File monthly/quarterly GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns
  • Ensure compliance with e-invoicing and e-way bill regulations
  • Prepare for internal and external audits
Invoicing & Documentation
  • Generate invoices as per PO/work orders and client format
  • Share invoices via Zoho Books and follow up for acknowledgment
  • Maintain supporting documents: delivery proof, POs, approvals
Reporting & MIS
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports: revenue, expenses, margins
  • Share cash flow dashboard with management weekly
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
Software & Automation
  • Work daily on Zoho Books (latest version) – invoicing, banking, approvals
  • Use TallyPrime for voucher entries, reporting, audit trail
  • Coordinate Zoho integrations with CRM, HRMS, and payment gateways
Skills & Qualifications:
  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Hands-on experience with TallyPrime and Zoho Books
  • Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters
  • Familiar with Indian accounting, GST, and MSME processes

Preferred Experience:
  • Worked in B2B / MSME / Service-based firms
  • Managed multi-state GST, client-specific invoicing
