Job Title: Account Manager – Food Manufacturing Sector

Job Location: Himatnagar Nr Ranasan

Department: Accounts & Operations

Job Purpose:

The Account Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of financial, operational, and administrative activities in a food manufacturing unit. The role requires strong industry knowledge, the ability to manage multiple departments, and ensure compliance with accounting, logistics, procurement, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :Accounts & Finance Management

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements as per statutory requirements.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Prepare MIS reports, budgeting, costing, and financial analysis for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory audits and internal controls.

Operations & Departmental Coordination

  • Oversee all departments including:
  • Raw Material & Packaging Material (RM/PM) Procurement – vendor management, purchase planning, cost optimization.
  • Logistics & Dispatch – ensure timely delivery, route planning, transporter coordination.
  • Receiving & Warehousing – supervise inbound raw material and finished goods storage.
  • Production Support – coordinate with production for material availability and cost tracking.
  • Monitor and streamline workflow between departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Commercial & Compliance

  • Negotiate with suppliers, service providers, and contractors for best terms.
  • Ensure all commercial contracts, purchase orders, and invoices are correctly processed.
  • Handle licensing, legal, and statutory requirements related to food manufacturing sector.

Team Leadership & Communication

  • Lead and guide accounts, logistics, and admin staff.
  • Ensure inter-departmental communication and alignment with company goals.
  • Train and mentor team for process improvement and compliance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounts, finance, and taxation in food/agro processing sector.
  • Experience in managing RM/PM, logistics, and dispatch functions in a manufacturing setup.
  • Good understanding of supply chain, costing, and inventory management.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP/SAP/Tally/other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance/Accounts) or equivalent qualification.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance in food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Hands-on experience in handling multi-department operations preferred.

Compensation:

As per industry standards (Negotiable based on experience and skills).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
