We are hiring a Product Design Manager to lead a team shaping the next generation of cognitive ERP experiences.
This is a people-leadership role for someone who thrives on autonomy, leads from the front, and builds a culture of excellence and trust. You will define design direction, grow talent, and influence Epicor’s AI and ERP product strategy end-to-end.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage a high-performing design team solving complex, high-impact problems across AI and ERP products.
- Drive the strategic design vision for your product area, aligning user experience with business outcomes.
- Operate with autonomy to make experience and design decisions that shape product direction.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and AI teams to translate business strategy and AI capabilities into human-centered experiences.
- Drive end-to-end design from discovery to validation, ensuring design intent carries through to final implementation.
- Build strong team rituals that foster clarity, accountability, and craft discipline.
- Recruit, mentor, and elevate designers, creating a culture of ownership, experimentation, and high performance.
 
What You Will Likely Bring
- 8+ years in product or UX design, including 3+ years managing a small to mid-sized design team.
- Proven record of designing and delivering enterprise or B2B products at scale.
- Strong skills in product strategy, design research, prototyping, and agile execution.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, problem framing, and measurable impact.
- Confident communicator who inspires through vision, clarity, and persuasion.
- Ability to lead autonomously while fostering collaboration and alignment across functions.
- A growth mindset and a track record of coaching and scaling design talent effectively.
 
What Could Set You Apart
- Experience launching AI-driven workflows or intelligent automation that elevate user experience.
- Deep domain knowledge in ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial software.
- Comfort leading design strategy for technically complex or data-rich enterprise products.
- Proven ability to connect design outcomes to business performance metrics.
- Experience leading distributed or cross-regional design teams.
- A leadership style that balances autonomy, empathy, and precision craft.
- AI fluency — ability to prompt, critique, and orchestrate AI-generated concepts as part of a human–AI creative process.
- Understanding of AI ethics, authorship, and responsible use in design and product development.
- Experience mentoring designers to build AI literacy and confidence using AI tools thoughtfully in their workflows.
- Familiarity with prompt-led design, AI-assisted prototyping, and creating adaptive, learning-based user experiences that evolve with data.
