We are looking for a proactive and organized Trade Marketing Specialist to lead on-ground marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement across various retail and experiential settings. This role will involve planning and executing wet sampling activities, managing in-store brand promoters, and developing point-of-sale materials (POSM) to ensure impactful retail displays and merchandising. Additionally, the role includes establishing experience centers in strategic locations within Delhi NCR to further drive brand presence and customer interaction.
On-Ground Sampling & Event Management
- Plan and execute wet sampling activities at retail stores, residential societies, hospitals, corporate parks, trade fairs/exhibitions, hotels, and cafés.
- Ensure consistent delivery of a premium brand experience during sampling events by coordinating logistics, staffing, and product supply.
- Gather customer feedback and insights during sampling events to refine marketing strategies.
In-Store Brand Promotion
- Recruit, train, and manage in-store brand promoters to drive sales and enhance customer interaction.
- Monitor promoter performance and provide regular feedback to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with retail partners to secure prime in-store locations for brand activations.
Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) Development
- Create and deploy effective POSM, including retail displays, signage, and merchandising tools that amplify brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Work closely with design and procurement teams to ensure high-quality, visually appealing materials.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of POSM and update as needed to meet market demands.
Experience Center Setup
- Identify and secure strategic locations for experience centers across Delhi NCR.
- Oversee the design, setup, and operations of experience centers to provide an immersive brand experience.
- Ensure seamless integration of experiential marketing activities with broader trade marketing strategies.
Event Planning & Execution
- Organize and manage brand presence at trade fairs, exhibitions, and other promotional events.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
Data Collection & Analysis
- Track and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities, including sales uplift, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Leverage data insights to optimize future campaigns and initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align trade marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners, event organizers, and other stakeholders to maximize collaboration opportunities.
- Experience: 3-6 years in trade marketing or similar roles, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods sectors.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Event Management Expertise: Proven ability to plan and execute events and sampling activities across diverse venues.
- POSM Development: Strong creative and organizational skills to develop impactful retail display and merchandising materials.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams, such as in-store promoters or event staff.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Project Management: Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
