Technical Project Manager

Role Summary

You will lead cross-functional delivery for a secure, compliant, and high-performance cryptocurrency exchange across web, mobile, backend services, trading, wallets and fiat ramps. You will turn business goals into executable plans, coordinate internal and vendor teams, and ship reliable releases on schedule.

Responsibilities

1. Own the program plan and roadmap from discovery through launch and scale

2. Translate product requirements into clear scope, timelines, and acceptance criteria

3. Run delivery ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

4. Coordinate work across backend, web, mobile, data, security, DevOps, compliance, support, and finance ops

5. Drive integrations for KYC and AML, custody or wallet operations, payment rails, and market data

6. Oversee trading systems delivery including order lifecycle, risk checks, positions and P and L, and real-time market data

7. Establish release strategy including environments, CI and CD, canary and rollback, change management, and incident response

8. Set and track non-functional targets for availability, latency, throughput, cost, and scalability

9. Ensure regulatory and security requirements are embedded in plans, reviews, and go-live gates

10. Report status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to leadership with clear mitigation plans

Minimum Qualifications

1. 5 or more years in technical project or program management in fintech, capital markets, payments, or large-scale SaaS

2. Proven delivery of real-time, API-driven platforms with web and mobile clients

3. Working knowledge of exchange concepts including order types, matching or routing, risk and margin, positions and P & L, and market data Streaming

4. Hands-on experience coordinating vendor integrations for KYC or AML, payment rails, or custody or wallet systems

5. Solid grasp of cloud fundamentals, CI and CD, observability, security basics, and data privacy practices

6. Ability to write concise specifications, acceptance criteria, test readouts, and executive updates

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience at a digital asset exchange, broker, or trading platform

2. Familiarity with derivatives or futures and options, margin, liquidations, and funding

3. Background in wallet operations, hot or warm or cold storage, and reconciliation

4. Exposure to market surveillance, regulatory reporting, and audit readiness

5. Comfort with API tools and basic SQL for validation and reconciliation

5. Diagramming for systems, funds flow, and incident runbooks
