### **Role Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient **Technical Business Analyst** to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.

This role requires a blend of business acumen, analytical rigor, and hands-on technical skills in SQL, data modeling, and analytics tools to support enterprise-level solutions across domains such as Market Research, Biotechnology, FinTech, and Utilities.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance).

- Translate complex business needs into clear, traceable, and testable technical specifications for development teams.

- Design and maintain data models, workflows, and process diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.

- Perform in-depth **data analysis** using **SQL** to extract, validate, and interpret data from enterprise databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).

- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks.

- Develop and maintain **Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations** to support business insights and executive decision-making.

- Support **data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance** processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.

- Work closely with QA teams to design test cases and validate system behavior against business rules and data logic.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and maintain backlog grooming activities.

- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards (e.g., **ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, CCPA**) when handling sensitive or regulated data.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-backed solutions.

### **Required Skills & Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience as a **Business Analyst**, with at least 2 years focused on **technical analysis** in enterprise environments.

- Proven experience in **SQL** (advanced querying, joins, window functions, stored procedures, performance tuning).

- Hands-on experience with **data analytics tools**: Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

- Experience with **ETL processes**, data warehousing, and data lake concepts (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks).

- Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum** methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).

- Strong understanding of **data modeling**, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), and database design principles.

- Experience working with **cloud platforms** (Azure, AWS, GCP) is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

- Exposure to **machine learning** concepts and use of AI/ML models in business contexts (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection).

- Experience in regulated industries such as **BFS, Healthcare, Energy, or Market Research**.
