Your Impact
As a Team Leader for Talent Attraction Operations, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of trust-based leadership and process excellence for an operational team of 10-15 colleagues, your stakeholders, as well as your co-leadership team across the region.You will take ownership for the performance and development of the team, offering expertise and insights, problem solving through strategic partnerships, leading through transition periods, role modeling professionalism, and managing expectations and ambiguity. More specifically, your role as a people leader is to provide coaching and professional development opportunities to your team through facilitating one-on-ones, understanding their needs and aspirations, providing real-time feedback, developing actionable performance plans, and evaluating team members based on the firm’s standard evaluation cycle.You will also be responsible for managing team capacity including day-to-day coverage, approving time sheets and PTO requests, monitoring overtime, identifying in/out of scope responsibilities, and aligning additional projects. Additionally, you will participate in the team's recruiting efforts, structural alignments, onboarding, and training of new team members.As part of Talent Attraction Operations, you will collaborate with colleagues across functions to proactively identify opportunities and innovations for standardization and/or operational efficiency including digital enablement. You will function as key point-of-contact for process questions and service escalations to our primary stakeholders throughout Asia and will be based in our Gurgaon, India location.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- 6+ years of progressive professional experience, preferably in Talent Attraction, Human Resources, or a global shared services environment
- 2 to 3 years of Proven leadership experience, including direct team or project management, performance coaching, career development planning, and building high-performing, distributed teams
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and a desire to simplify complex processes
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects in complex organizations, with strong strategic thinking and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics and workforce insights to inform decisions, set KPIs, and drive performance improvements
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict resolution and stakeholder management
- Able to work through change management, including leading teams through organizational changes, process redesigns, or technology adoption
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines
- High sense of ownership, with the ability to problem-solve independently and in partnership with others
- Demonstrated ability to operate in compliance with company policies, data protection standards, and applicable labor regulations
- Demonstrated flexibility to work across time zones and geographies, with the ability to travel and work in person as needed, while operating independently with sound judgment and ownership in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
