System Engineer (Network Engineer)
We are looking for a
highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer
to manage, operate, and support our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in
firewalls, switching, wireless technologies, and network security
, with strong expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless, and cloud security platforms.
- Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls (mandatory) — policies, NAT, VPNs, security profiles, upgrades, and HA.
- Configure and support Cisco Nexus switches (mandatory) — VLANs, VPC, routing, OS upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Cisco Meraki switches and access points (mandatory), including dashboard administration, monitoring, wireless optimization, fine-tuning, and architecture understanding.
- Support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and ZTNA solutions, including policy configuration and user troubleshooting.
- Monitor network performance using standard network monitoring tools, proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and changes through a ticketing system, ensuring adherence to SLAs and ITIL processes.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network issues and implement preventive actions.
- Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and service providers for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and diagrams.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (mandatory).
- Extensive experience with Cisco Nexus switches (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points (mandatory).
- Experience with Zscaler (ZIA) and ZTNA security solutions.
- Solid understanding of network monitoring tools (mandatory).
- Experience working with IT ticketing systems and operational processes (mandatory).
- Deep technical expertise in Firewalls, Switching, and Wireless technologies, including configuration and advanced troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and network security concepts.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX).
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, Meraki, Security certifications, etc.
