Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer with 5-10 years of expertise in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) and state-of-the-art Security Risk
Operation Center (SROC) operations. This role involves designing and implementing large-scale integrated security systems, collaborating with design and site teams, and ensuring seamless system
handover. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong technical knowledge in ELV technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot and support complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and design experience in ELV technologies, including access control and denial systems, CCTV/IP video with intelligent analytics, video storage and archiving (including server sizing), perimeter intrusion detection, public address and intercom systems, command/control display technologies, and general security principles.
- Apply networking expertise in WAN, LAN, firewalls, switches, and IP video transmission to support ELV and SROC integrations.
- Ensure robust technical infrastructure design, including power and communications, for large - scale security systems.
- Lead system design and implementation of integrated security projects, collaborating with the design team to develop and verify cable schedules, termination details, and working drawings.
- Provide on-site support to field teams by interpreting engineering drawings, troubleshooting issues, guiding on terminations and cable schedules, and resolving integration queries.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of ELV systems, such as fixed/PTZ/thermal cameras, perimeter intrusion detection, access control, vertical arm boom barriers, tripods/turnstiles, and bollards etc., in alignment with design specifications.
- Conduct acceptance testing, system handover, and technical/operators training to customers, performance monitoring, and post-installation troubleshooting for ELV and SROC operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Utilize tools like MS Visio, AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project for design documentation, planning, and reporting.
- Support SROC operations by integrating advanced analytics, monitoring tools, and ensuring real-time risk management capabilities.
Qualification and Skills
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 5-10 years in ELV system design, implementation, and management, with hands- on experience in large-scale integrated security systems and SROC operations.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in ELV technologies including access control, CCTV/IP video analytics, video storage, perimeter intrusion, public address/intercom, and command/control systems.
- Strong networking knowledge (WAN, LAN, firewalls, switches, IP transmission) and technical infrastructure (power, communications).
- Expertise in system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for security hardware like cameras, barriers, and detection systems.
- Familiarity with MS Visio, AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project for design and project management.
- Understanding of industry standards for security systems and compliance.
