Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end supply chain: demand planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, warehousing and distribution to ensure SKU availability and minimise stockouts.
- Lead S&OP cycles—align demand forecasts with production and procurement plans, set safety stock policies and drive SKU rationalisation to improve working capital.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement negotiations to secure competitive lead-times, price, and quality aligned with regulatory and GMP expectations.
- Implement and optimise warehouse operations and WMS (Warehouse Management System) workflows to improve throughput, picking accuracy and reduce expiry/obsolescence for sensitive SKUs.
- Drive logistics and distribution strategy across multi-channel networks (B2B Clients, distributors, & e-commerce), ensuring on-time delivery and cost-to-serve optimisation.
- Establish supply chain KPIs, perform root-cause analysis on disruptions, and deploy continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean) to raise service levels and reduce costs.
- And any other roles & responsibilities the company deems fit.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in E-Commerce / low shelf-life product businesses / retail product supply chain management with P&L and distributor ecosystem exposure.
- Strong expertise in demand forecasting and inventory optimisation with demonstrated reductions in stockouts and excess inventory.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Track record in procurement, vendor management and contract negotiation for raw materials and packaging.
- Hands-on experience implementing S&OP processes and setting operational KPIs and dashboards.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements and expiry-sensitive product management.
Preferred
- Experience with pharmacy distribution and e-commerce fulfilment models in India.
- Working knowledge of advanced analytics tools for supply chain insights.
- Exposure to lean/continuous improvement certifications or programs.
