The Corporate Project Manager-Tx is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight and review of projects throughout their life cycle (PLC), ensuring effective management of physical and fiscal metrics by generating exception reports for management intervention. This role involves controlling project budgets to ensure completion within contractual time frames through meticulous spent and variance analysis, while optimizing costs via coordinated efforts among internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the Corporate Projects Manager facilitates project review meetings, tracks progress using various project management techniques, and contributes valuable input for prospective bidding opportunities related to transmission line routes and point of entry (POE) calculations, ultimately driving successful project delivery and strategic alignment.Responsibilities

Promote enhanced project planning and monitoring practices by leveraging data analytics platforms to improve control mechanisms and project outcomes.Facilitate project completion within scheduled time frames and budgets by developing and implementing protocols that enhance project execution efficiency.Control project schedules and budgets effectively by deriving estimates at completion (EAC) and estimates to complete (ETC) in terms of time and cost.Track project progress and identify delays by leveraging S-curves for ongoing analysis and reporting.Generate timely and scientifically analysed Project MIS and exception reports, highlighting problem areas to enable swift management intervention.Conduct technical and quality audits at project sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Compliance Management
Ensure alignment with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria by integrating inputs and monitoring compliance throughout project execution.Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to statutory norms in contract and condition precedents (CP) of the Transmission Service Agreement (TSA).Ensure adherence to policies, guidelines, and SOPs across all projects by facilitating implementation and compliance checks.Liaison And Stakeholder Management
Maintain productive relationships with external stakeholders and address concerns proactively by facilitating open communication regarding project progress and challenges.Ensure timely regulatory approvals by pursuing statutory proposals and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet L1 and L2 schedule requirements for project objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality.Contribute to industry representation by providing inputs for engagement with industry bodies such as EPTA and government agencies like CEA, REC, PFC, PGCIL, CTU, and STU.Identify potential project risks and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented by conducting quarterly risk review meetings and collaborating with relevant departments.Provide accurate and timely feedback on project progress to functional heads and higher management on an exception basis to facilitate informed decision-making.Financial Management
Secure management approval for project budgets by firming up financial plans and ensuring transparency in assumptions made during the bidding stage.Minimize cost variances and ensure project viability by regularly reviewing project cash flows and highlighting significant deviations to management.Facilitate financial management and refinancing processes for projects by working closely with the finance and accounts (F&A) team to streamline capital flow.Ensure timely capitalization of assets immediately after commissioning or achieving deemed substantial completion of project deadlines.Optimize resource allocation for new projects by coordinating with human resources to align staffing with immediate and long-term project plans.Prepare and implement development plans for team members to enhance skills and project execution capabilities.Risk Management

Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, MBA or equivalent management certification preferred.Work Experience (Range Of Years)
8-10 years of experience in erection, commissioning, and project management of infrastructure projects, specifically transmission lines and substations.At least 2 years of experience in site project management or project execution.PMP or equivalent project management-related certification is preferred.Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera (P6), MS Project, and advanced skills in Excel and Power BI for planning and analysis.
