Job Description

We are looking for a skilled South Indian Sous Chef to join our team at Etopia Malgudi, with 4-8 years of experience in the culinary industry.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that showcase the diversity of South Indian cuisine.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to keep culinary offerings fresh and innovative.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.
  • Conduct quality control checks on ingredients and dishes to maintain high standards of taste and presentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated with trends and techniques in South Indian cuisine to continuously improve the dining experience.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a chef in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including its history, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, and the ability to use them safely and efficiently.
  • Passion for innovation and creativity in the kitchen, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
