Role Overview
We're seeking a technical Project Manager with engineering background to lead our India development team. This role requires understanding of our technology stack combined with strong project management skills to drive execution, coordinate across teams, and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Break down requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Work with Tech Lead to provide technical estimates and identify dependencies, risks, and constraints
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, sprint backlogs, and release roadmaps
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demo sessions
- Track and report project progress, blockers, and key metrics to US leadership weekly
- Manage technical debt backlog, bug triage, and prioritize engineering work
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with the Tech Lead
- Work closely with US-based CTO and technical leadership to ensure seamless collaboration
- Align with US team on delivery roadmap, priorities, and resource planning
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain transparent communication across time zones
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate the India GCC development team on a day-to-day basis
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members to ensure alignment and address concerns
- Manage dependencies with third-party integrations and coordinate with relevant teams
Team Coordination & Enablement
- Participate in architecture discussions to understand technical direction and dependencies
- Ensure the team has clarity on requirements, priorities, and deliverables
- Remove blockers and facilitate smooth execution for the development team
- Coordinate with Tech Lead on resource allocation and capacity planning
- Support technical interviews and assess candidates for cultural fit and communication skills
- Create onboarding plans and facilitate knowledge transfer for new team members
- Coordinate training needs and professional development opportunities
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Implement and track team velocity, burndown, and other key delivery metrics
- Coordinate CI/CD pipeline requirements and release management with Tech Lead
Required Qualifications
Experience :
- 10+ years total experience with 6-8 years in software development and 5+ years in technical project management/leadership roles
- Understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js ecosystem
- Familiarity with Next.js, Nest.js, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- API design concepts - RESTful principles, authentication patterns
- Understanding of Git workflows and version control
- Cloud platforms exposure
- CI/CD and DevOps concepts - deployment pipelines, testing automation
- Vercel deployment platform - understanding of serverless deployments, edge functions, and production workflows
Project Management
- Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies with relevant certifications preferred (CSM, PMP, SAFe)
- Experience leading teams through full SDLC from concept to production
Managing distributed teams and working with US-based clients/stakeholdersCapacity planning and resource managementStrong risk management and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to create clear documentation, status reports, and presentationsExperience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
