Position Overview:

Senior SEO Executive


Key Responsibilities:

1.     SEO Strategy Development:

·       Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive, data-driven SEO strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience behaviour.

·       Conduct competitive analysis and identify emerging opportunities to increase organic traffic, improve SERP rankings, and expand market share.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO strategies into broader marketing initiatives.


2.     Keyword Research and Analysis:

·       Perform advanced keyword research and analysis to identify high-value, long-tail, and semantic keywords.

·       Utilize keyword clustering and intent analysis to optimize content and improve search relevance.

·       Monitor keyword performance and adapt strategies based on search trends and user behaviour.


3.     On-Page Optimization:

·       Conduct thorough website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, site architecture, and page speed optimization.

·       Optimize website content, metadata, and schema markup to enhance search engine understanding and user engagement.


4.     Content Collaboration:

·       Partner with content creators to develop and optimize high-quality, engaging content that aligns with SEO best practices and user intent.

·       Provide strategic content recommendations based on keyword research, competitive analysis, and search trends.

·       Implement content performance tracking and reporting to measure the impact of SEO efforts.


5.     Off-Page SEO:

·       Develop and execute strategic link-building campaigns focused on earning high-quality, relevant backlinks.

·       Conduct outreach to industry influencers, bloggers, and publishers to build relationships and secure link placements.

·       Monitor and analyze backlink profiles to identify and disavow toxic links.


6.     Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

·       Utilize advanced analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Bing Webmaster, SEMrush/Ahrefs/MoZ/Screaming Frog) to track, analyse, and report on SEO performance metrics.

·       Develop custom dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate key insights to stakeholders.

·       Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve SEO performance and achieve business goals.


7.     Trend Analysis and Adaptation:

·       Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and search engine guidelines.

·       Conduct ongoing research and experimentation to identify new SEO strategies and techniques.

·       Adapt SEO strategies to align with evolving search engine algorithms and user behavior.

Requirements:

Experience:

·       2-3 years of proven experience in SEO, with a demonstrable track record of improving organic search rankings and driving significant website traffic.

·       Experience in e-commerce or SaaS industries is a plus.


Technical Skills:

·       Advanced proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).

·       Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture for SEO purposes.

·       Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify.


Analytical Skills:

·       Exceptional ability to analyse complex data sets and extract actionable insights.

·       Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Keyword Planner, and similar tools.

·       Experience with data visualization tools.


Soft Skills:

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. 

·       Must have strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

·       Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Problem solving skills.


Bonus Points:

·       Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications.

·       Experience with international SEO.

·       Knowledge of programmatic SEO.

·       Experience with Python or R.
