Role Summary -

We’re looking for an experienced, sharp, hands-on Head of Procurement to lead all sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations — ensuring our properties are well-equipped, well-run, and always on-brand.

From bunk beds to bean bags, and from kitchen equipment to branded toiletries — you’ll own the

strategy and execution behind how we source, standardize, and scale everything that powers the

goSTOPS experience.

As the Head of Procurement, you’ll be responsible for building and owning a procurement engine that powers the entire goSTOPS ecosystem — from new hostel launches to day-to-day operational needs — while optimizing for cost, speed, and brand integrity.

You’ll define and drive the procurement strategy and supply chain processes, embedding them

seamlessly across our rapidly growing network of hostels — including furniture, furnishings, appliances, kitchen equipment, food and beverage supplies, in-property branding materials, and more.Your mission will be to centralize, streamline, and scale procurement — enabling goSTOPS to grow faster, operate smarter, and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

 Procurement Strategy

Build and lead goSTOPS procurement strategy — focusing on cost efficiency, vendor reliability, product quality, and timely delivery.

 Vendor & Supplier Management

Identify, onboard, and manage vendors across categories (furniture, linens, electronics, food, utilities, etc.). Drive long-term relationships and performance-based partnerships.

 Standardization & Quality Control

Ensure consistent quality and aesthetics across all products — from hostel interiors to consumables.

Align closely with the brand and design teams to maintain the goSTOPS vibe across locations.

 Cost Optimization & Negotiation

Use data, scale, and negotiation chops to drive cost savings while maintaining quality. Continuously seek out alternative suppliers, renegotiate contracts, and minimize waste.

 Logistics & Fulfilment Oversight

Coordinate timely delivery and setup of goods across all properties — new launches, renovations, or ongoing operations.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with design, ops, marketing, and finance to forecast needs, budget accurately, and ensure all

procurement aligns with broader business goals.

 System & Process Implementation

Introduce procurement systems, SOPs, and dashboards to bring transparency, traceability, and

accountability to all procurement operations

What We Are Looking For -

● 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain — preferably in hospitality,

retail, or fast-paced consumer businesses.

● Proven track record of cost negotiation, vendor development, and scaling procurement

operations across geographies.

● Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, import/export regulations, and supply chain

risks.

● Detail-oriented but strategic — able to zoom into SKUs and zoom out to long-term planning.

● Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

● Comfortable with numbers, dashboards, and procurement software.

● Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field

(Hospitality Industry)

● (Preferred) MBA or Certification in Procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
