Senior Operations Manager
Overview
The Senior Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the operational ecosystem of our Global Capability Center (GCC). This role operates in supporting and overseeing day-to-day delivery, driving operational excellence, establishing governance frameworks. The incumbent will ensure alignment between operational goals, business strategies, and meeting the expectations while cultivating a high-performance, service-oriented culture.Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Service Delivery
- Lead, manage, and optimize operations across functions.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of services as per SLAs, KPIs, and stakeholder expectations
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality frameworks to monitor performance and track improvements
- GCC Governance & Compliance
- Support in establishing and managing center-wide governance models for operations, transformation, and risk management
- Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements, corporate governance, data security, and compliance standards
- Partner with different cross functions to ensure adherence to frameworks
- People Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring strong collaboration, engagement, and capability growth
- Manage relationships with global stakeholders, internal business units, and functional leaders to support organizational objectives
- Drive talent management, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development
- Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive operational efficiency through automation, digitization, and lean process improvement initiatives
- Monitor operational metrics and use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in efficiency, productivity, and scalability
- Support in executing transformation programs, expanding service lines, and building future-ready GCC capability
- GCC Infrastructure, Vendor & Risk Management
- Coordinate with facilities, IT, HR, and third-party vendors to ensure an efficient, compliant, and scalable operating environment
- Manage end-to-end vendor performance, renewals, contracts, and service-level governance
- Assess operational risks, develop mitigation plans, and create business continuity preparedness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
- 10–15 years of experience in operations leadership within a GCC, Shared Services, Captive Center, or large corporate services environment
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, service delivery, transformation, and scaling operations
- Strong understanding of compliance (SOX, ISO, GDPR, local labor laws), governance models, and shared services frameworks.
- Experience in building relationships across different teams
