As a Senior Market Research Analyst at Presidio, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's market intelligence function by delivering advanced research and strategic insights. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading complex research projects using advanced analytical methodologies and cross-functional data synthesis. - Acting as a subject matter expert on specific market segments, technology domains, and competitive landscapes. - Producing executive briefings that translate complex market dynamics into strategic recommendations. - Mentoring junior analysts on research methodologies, analytical frameworks, and executive communication. - Partnering with the Market Research Lead to define research strategy and prioritize intelligence initiatives. - Conducting deep-dive competitive analysis, financial modeling, offering comparisons, and strategic positioning assessments. - Building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders including Product Management, Sales Leadership, and Partner teams. - Leading special projects and ad-hoc research requests from executive leadership with rapid turnaround. - Developing new research methodologies and frameworks to enhance Presidio's intelligence capabilities. - Representing Presidio at industry events and analyst briefings to gather primary intelligence. - Quality assuring research outputs from junior team members to ensure accuracy and strategic relevance. - Contributing to thought leadership through white papers, blog posts, and internal knowledge sharing. Your expertise will be in market research methodologies, statistical analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, services market (including cloud migration, security operations, digital transformation trends), and technology domains (e.g., cybersecurity, cloud platforms, networking, collaboration). You will need to have advanced proficiency in research tools, competitive intelligence platforms, and data visualization software, along with an understanding of financial analysis and partner program structures. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - 5-7 years of progressive experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or management consulting. - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Economics, or technical field preferred. - Demonstrated expertise in technology market research with a focus on B2B enterprise segments. - Proven track record of delivering high-impact research that influenced strategic decisions. - Advanced proficiency in research tools, statistical software, and data visualization platforms. - Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. - Strong presentation skills with experience briefing senior executives. - Professional certifications in competitive intelligence or market research preferred. Key competencies required for this role include advanced analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, executive communication, research excellence, mentoring and coaching, self-direction and initiative, quality focus, influence and impact, and technical acumen. In this role, you can expect primarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use for research and analysis. Limited travel (<10%) for industry conferences, stakeholder meetings, or field research activities may be required, along with flexible hours to accommodate executive deadlines or global team collaboration.
