The Role Presidio is looking for a AWS Cloud (DevOps) Associate Architect to interface directly with clients and contribute to small workgroups to deploy cloud based solutions for clients. Successful candidates will prove their ability to leverage their experience with orchestration, configuration, and automation tools to build secure, reliable cloud platforms for customers. Responsibilities include: Develop cloud design patterns and architecture framework required for the project implementation. Define architecture standards for the development team, encourage the best practices, prepare the technical documentation for the project deliverables. Translate the design into implementable pattern for the DevOps engineering team. Act as the single point of contact for any technical delivery related to a project. Provide technical thought leadership to the team with solution decisions, technical issues and for internal organization initiatives. Technical guidance and assistance on effort estimation to pre-sales teams for the client proposals. Project management activities include project estimation, work breakdown structure, setting the project schedules and sending the project status reports to clients. Assist Project management team to help define and organize tasks across the sprints by participating in sprint planning and story point estimation. Mentor and guide the team members on the cloud technologies. Required Skills and Professional Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience in the industry with good exposure to Cloud, DevOps, and Automation. 4+ years of experience in designing and architecting public / private cloud preferably AWS. Certified in Solutions Architect Professional and/or speciality in AWS. Must have good knowledge on core infrastructure domains like Networking, compute, security, backup and monitoring. Proficient in one or more of the following scripting languages - Shell, Python, Ruby, Golang, Powershell, etc. Specialist in one or more of the CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Bitbucket pipelines. Proficient in various Cloud security tools and their usage. Exposure to AWS Well Architected framework and their application and recommendation. Expert in Business continuity plans and related designs (DR). Exposure to cloud infrastructure cost management and optimization. Experience on setting up Datacenter to AWS Cloud connectivity using Site-to-site VPN and/or direct connect. Experience in large scale migrations to cloud, with exposure to end-to-end migration methodology from Discovery, build & migraion phase. Preferred Skills and Professional Experience Seasoned in migration and transforming legacy solutions to cloud. Experience in any of the Database configuration and administration. Experience in implementing Landing zones and control tower. Deployment of applications of micro service via dev-ops tools. K8slens or equivalent tools for administration and monitoring. The Role We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Architect – Virtualization to spearhead the design, deployment, and configuration of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. This role is pivotal in delivering modern datacenter and hybrid cloud solutions built on VCF as the core platform. Candidates must have deep hands-on experience with VCF lifecycle management, NSX, vSAN, vSphere, SDDC Manager, and Aria Suite components. Experience with AVS, VMConAWS, and Nutanix is considered a plus for multi-cloud and edge use cases. Key Responsibilities Architect full-stack VCF deployments from planning to execution, including management domain and workload domain design, SDDC Manager configuration, and Bring-Up process. Configure and integrate vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and Aria Suite (Aria Operations, Aria Automation, Aria Logs)components in VCF environments. Collaborate with architects on VCF design blueprints, capacity planning, and implementation plans tailored to customer use cases. Drive post-deployment configurations like NSX security policies, AVNs, vSAN policies, alerting, logging, and automation integration. Provide in-depth troubleshooting of VCF-specific issues across compute, network, and storage layers. Automate VCF Day-2 operations using Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs. Assist with upgrades and lifecycle management via SDDC Manager and associated tools. Support hybrid cloud integration of VCF with AVS, VMConAWS, or public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure). Deliver technical documentation including VCF deployment runbooks, Day-2 operations guides, and design documents. Mentor junior engineers specifically on VCF architecture and configurations, helping them grow into VCF engineers. Maintain strong customer communication during all project phases and ensure high satisfaction levels. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10 - 15 years of experience in virtualization and cloud infrastructure. Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing VCF in production environments. Deep technical knowledge of SDDC Manager, NSX-T, vSAN, vSphere 7/8, and Aria components. Experience in Day-0 to Day-2 VCF lifecycle activities including patching, upgrade, certificate replacement, and integrations. Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (PowerCLI, Bash, Python) for infrastructure automation. Exposure to Azure VMware Solution (AVS), VMware Cloud on AWS (VMConAWS), or Nutanix is beneficial. VMware certifications such as VCP-VCF Administrator, VCP-DCV/NV/CMA or equivalent. Preferred Skills Experience with multi-site VCF deployments and advanced technologies like NSX Federation.
