The Team:
The Transactions team’s mission is to produce the most actionable, transparent, trusted, and comprehensive data and insights in the marketplace for critical corporate events like Mergers & Acquisitions, Public Offerings, Investor Activism, Equity Buybacks, and Bankruptcies. The Role:
We seek a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager to lead a global data operations team responsible for collecting in-depth insights on the M&A dataset within the Transactions data operations. This leadership position is pivotal in ensuring both the integrity of our data assets and exceptional client satisfaction. You will be directly leading a group of frontline managers + data specialists and will be expected to bring a unique blend of operational rigor, talent engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

It also warrants other leaders within Transactions and teams within the domain/cluster/content organization to drive various projects and initiatives to deliver best-in-class, differentiated content to meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple teams working on collection/value-added tasks within Transactions.
  • Lead teams across assigned business/region for workflow systems with a focus on managing process, productivity, and functionality improvements.
  • Effective coordination and constructive relationships within internal, intra-cluster, and other verticals across EDO.
  • May interact with internal and external clients as necessary, and occasionally work on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned.
  • Own the performance measurement processes, talent development, team engagement, and VIBE for respective teams.
  • Generate and timely share status reports/updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage/support multiple operational or project/focused teams across offices in the planning and implementation of process and operational changes across different teams.
  • Proven ambassador of innovative culture and promoter of transformation via effective usage of AI, Automation, LEAN, etc.
  • Identify individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst the team. Guide and coach leads & teams for future growth.

What we’re looking for:
Functional and Business Knowledge:
  • A sound understanding of Transaction dataset processes like M&A, Public Offerings, Private Placements, and understanding of various internal processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Proven experience in driving strategic/transformation initiatives.

Stakeholder Management and Problem Solving:
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration (across Data Excellence & Partnership, Product, Technology, etc.) for a timely and successful delivery of strategic projects.
  • Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting.
  • Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience

Basic Qualifications:
  • Excellent leadership skills and people management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine tasks.
  • Strong in Time Management & Presentation Skills
