As an experienced HR professional in the construction industry, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources for the site and office staff. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing end-to-end recruitment process for laborers, administrative personnel, and other staff members. This involves conducting interviews, coordinating with department heads, and ensuring timely hiring. - Handling onboarding and induction programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the organization. - Addressing employee grievances and fostering a positive work environment through regular site visits and engagement activities. - Ensuring compliance with labor laws, including PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining records, handling dispute resolution, and liaising with legal consultants if required. - Managing attendance, leave records, and overtime calculations for site workers. - Assisting in performance appraisals, setting KPIs, identifying training needs, and facilitating skill development programs for employees. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations in the construction sector. - Experience in handling blue-collar workforce management. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred skills include familiarity with HRMS software, experience in safety and compliance training, and proficiency in the local language for better communication with site workers. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule based in Trivandrum, Kerala. Prior experience of at least 10 years in HR is required for this role, and the work location is in person. Please note the requirement for reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work in Trivandrum, Kerala.
