Senior HR Manager

This role involves end-to-end ownership of the HR function, ensuring seamless execution across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll, performance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will drive process excellence, team leadership, and HR automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Ownership

• Own all HR modules across recruitment, onboarding, leave, payroll, performance, and exit
• Standardize and document every process (SOPs, workflows, templates)
• Plan quarterly HR audits and track compliance gaps
• Report key HR metrics to leadership (headcount, attrition, cost per hire, etc.)

2. Team Leadership

• Train, guide, and manage junior HR executives and interns
• Review all communication sent to candidates, employees, and external vendors
• Set goals and track execution of daily HR tasks

3. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

• Work with department heads to define hiring needs
• Review all JDs, approve shortlists, and oversee final offers
• Manage Zoho Recruit setup, workflows, and reports
• Build a recruitment pipeline for tech and non-tech roles

4. HR Tech & Automation

• Set up and manage Zoho People, Recruit, and Payroll
• Build workflows for onboarding, approvals, attendance tracking, and exit
• Train employees on Zoho usage and troubleshoot issues

5. Policy & Compliance

• Draft and maintain the HR Manual, POSH policy, Code of Conduct, etc.
• Ensure leave, attendance, and working hours comply with the Gujarat Shops Act
• Liaise with external consultants for PF, ESIC, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus Act
• Conduct monthly and quarterly statutory compliance reviews

6. Payroll Coordination

• Approve salary structures, increments, and bonuses
• Verify monthly LOP and attendance summaries
• Coordinate with finance for salary processing via Zoho Payroll
• Handle full & final settlements and tax queries

7. Performance & Culture

• Set up quarterly and annual review processes
• Track review submissions, feedback, and salary revision triggers
• Build initiatives for team engagement, birthday/anniversary tracking, and feedback collection
• Manage internal grievances with empathy and fairness

8. Exit Management

• Ensure proper documentation of resignations and terminations
• Review exit interviews and flag issues to leadership
• Track attrition patterns and recommend retention actions

What You Need

• 4–7 years of HR experience in a tech or digital company
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws (PF, ESIC, TDS, Bonus Act, POSH, Gujarat Shops Act)
• Hands-on experience with HR automation tools (Zoho preferred)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Hindi
