We are looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager who can spearhead BFSI expansion and build strong, long-term client relationships. 


Role Overview

Senior Business Development Manager – BFSI


Key Responsibilities

1. New Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, target, and acquire new BFSI clients (Banks, NBFCs, Insurance Companies, FinTech). 
  • Develop and execute a structured sales strategy to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. 
  • Pitch Viyona Fintech’s solutions to CXO-level decision-makers. 


2. Key Account Management

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients. 
  • Understand client business models and collaborate with internal teams to offer customized solutions. 
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business. 


3. Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Analyze BFSI market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities. 
  • Provide insights to product and leadership teams to strengthen offerings. 
  • Identify partnership opportunities that support business expansion. 


4. Proposal & Negotiation

  • Prepare business proposals, RFP responses, and pricing structures. 
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals. 
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements. 


5. Collaboration & Internal Coordination

  • Partner with Product, Tech, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver client solutions. 
  • Work closely with Business HR and Management for team planning and performance alignment. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking meets, and conferences. 

 


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of BFSI domain (Banking, Payments, Lending, Insurance, NBFC operations). 
  • Proven track record in sales/business development within BFSI or Fintech (minimum 4

    years

    ). 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to build CXO-level relationships. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. 
  • High ownership, self-driven approach, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 


Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field. 
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Finance, or Business Management (preferred). 

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue generated & targets achieved. 
  • Number of new BFSI clients acquired. 
  • Client retention rate & satisfaction score. 
  • Quality and value of strategic partnerships closed. 
  • Pipeline health and conversion ratio.
