Role Overview

Senior Business Development Manager – HRM


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement

    strategic plans

    to hunt and grow enterprise and mid-market HR-tech/HRM SaaS accounts. 
  • Plan and execute effective

    account growth strategies

    through upsell and cross-sell across modules (HRIS, Payroll, ATS, PMS, LMS, Timesheet, etc.). 
  • Retain clients and build strong, trusting relationships with

    multiple stakeholder groups

    — CHROs, HR Heads, Talent Leaders, IT, Finance. 
  • Identify and articulate the

    value addition

    of Viyona Fintech’s HRM SaaS products to customer operations; present insights to drive deeper value realization.  
  • Recommend strategic product improvements by tracking

    industry trends, evolving HR needs, and client feedback

    .  
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Customer Success, Implementation) to deliver

    complete and timely solutions

  • Take full

    revenue responsibility

    for your territory to focus on scaling growth accounts, acquiring new clients, and maximizing product adoption. 
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in

    sales planning, territory management, and pipeline execution

  • Forecast account and territory revenue accurately using a

    data-driven approach


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of

    SaaS sales, HR tech products, and HR digital transformation trends

  • Proven ability to manage

    CXO-level relationships

    and influence decision-makers. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills. 
  • Strong analytical, consultative selling, and negotiation capabilities. 
  • Ability to identify opportunities, plan account strategies, and drive execution independently. 
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and accountability. 
  • Capability to manage long sales cycles and complex enterprise deals. 


Experience & Qualification

  • 3-4 years

    of experience selling SaaS products (HRM/HR Tech experience preferred). 
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in B2B SaaS sales. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Marketing, IT, or related field. 
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales, HR, or Marketing is an added advantage. 


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Achievement:

    Monthly/quarterly sales and account expansion targets. 
  • Account Growth:

    Number of upsell/cross-sell modules added per client. 
  • New Client Acquisition:

    Enterprise and mid-market accounts won. 
  • Customer Retention:

    Renewal rate and client satisfaction score. 
  • Pipeline Health:

    Lead quality, conversion ratio, and forecasting accuracy. 
  • Value Realization:

    Adoption of key HRM modules and usage depth.
