Position Summary:
Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic
Senior Account Executive
to join our high-performing sales team in Mumbai. The role is responsible for driving new business acquisition and managing key accounts, with a focus on digital transformation solutions and information management services. This is a strategic sales position involving 70% new business development and 30% account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on long-term, recurring revenue.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (BFSI, NBFCs, Insurance, PSUs, Hospitals, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams including Pre-Sales, Operations, and Customer Care to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Drive growth across assigned accounts through consultative selling and solution positioning.
- Lead major deal negotiations ensuring favorable terms and risk minimization for Iron Mountain.
- Maintain accurate records and forecasts in Salesforce and ensure timely reporting.
- Actively contribute to team performance, strategy execution, and customer satisfaction.
Performance Metrics:
- New Business Wins & Recurring Revenue (ASV)
- Sales Target Achievement & Deal Success Rates
- Pipeline Development & Conversion Ratios
- Customer Profitability & Account Retention
- Compliance with SSHE, audit standards, and Iron Mountain policies
- Effective usage of Salesforce CRM and internal reporting
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of experience in B2B solution sales, with a proven track record in digital services or technology sales.
- Strong background in consultative/solution selling, preferably in highly regulated industries (BFSI, Insurance, NBFCs, Government, Pharma, Media).
- Experience in handling process outsourcing, migrations, and digital transformation projects.
- Previous exposure to enterprise accounts and stakeholder engagement at CXO levels.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM is essential.
